What does it cover?

Goods being transported from one place to another could be damaged, lost, stolen or simply delayed - each of these situations could result in monetary loss for your company and this is where it pays to have this policy.

This insurance safeguards your own goods or those of your customers against the above situations. Without this cover in place you could be forced to pay customers for the goods that you were responsible for.

Example:

A container of machinery is being shipped from China to Australia, it is discovered that upon unpacking the machinery is damaged. The policy would respond to the nominated sum insured.
